storyline be?

I think the story is set in the future which is able to be seen through the imagery of not only the futuristic looking city and the flying cars, which were a very common prediction of the future, but also of the usage of the strange future looking font we can see. The storyline on the other hand is probably something in terms of hero vs villain. We can see that our protagonist is holding a gun(prop) which signifies power as he has the weapon. Also the antagonist, the woman, is the villain as she is smoking a cigarette which was at the time both seen as a bad thing to do(naughty) and unwoman like.

The poster suggests that the film likely belongs to the science fiction and possibly action genres. The futuristic cityscape, advanced technology, and the term "Blade Runner" all point to science fiction.
